TO ACCEPT A WARRANTY DEED FOR 50.766 ACRES OF LAND; KNOWN AS GAHANNA WOODS PARKS; FROM THE NATURE CONSERVANCY.

WHEREAS, a warranty deed for the purchase of 50.766 acres of land from The Nature Conservancy was executed on October 20, 1973; and
WHEREAS, said warranty deed was recorded on November 1, 1973 by the Franklin County Recorder's Office; and
WHEREAS, said warranty deed was never accepted by the City of Gahanna;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby accepts the Warranty Deed from The Nature Conservancy, for park land purposes and known as Gahanna Woods Park, said land more particularly described in EXHIBIT A attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
