TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH WOOLPERT, INC., FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CITY'S NPDES STORM WATER SMALL MS4 PHASE II PROGRAM FOR 2011.

WHEREAS, due to the complexity of regulations involved the Director of Public Service has recommended we obtain assistance from a consultant who has experience with these requirements; and
WHEREAS, proposal has been received from Woolpert, Inc., and the Director of Public Service has recommended we proceed with them to provide assistance with the implementation of the NPDES Phase II program in accordance with the recent OEPA General Permit Renewal;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Agreement with WOOLPERT INC., 2780 Airport Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43219, for the implementation of the City's NPDES Storm Water Small MS4 Phase II Program for 2011; Agreement attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($15,000) was set aside in the 2011 Appropriations to Account No. 631.350.5470, Storm Regulatory Requirements, to cover the herein cost.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
