TO ACCEPT A GENERAL WARRANTY DEED FROM HOMEWOOD CORPORATION, FOR A TOTAL OF 9.17+/- ACRES IN 3 SEPARATE PARCELS LOCATED IN THE HUNTERS RIDGE SUBDIVISION

WHEREAS, Homewood Corporation has presented to the City a deed for a total of 9.17+/- acres in three separate parcels, all in the Hunters Ridge subdivision for open space purposes; and
WHEREAS, said General Warranty Deed has been recorded in the office of the Franklin County Recorder on May 30, 2000; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has requested that we formally accept this property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby accepts GENERAL WARRANTY DEED granted by HOMEWOOD CORPORATION, for open spaces purposes in the Hunters Ridge subdivision, said Deed more particularly described in EXHIBIT A, which is attached to this ordinance and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
