TO AMEND CODE CHAPTER 1193, STORMWATER MANAGEMENT POLICY, AND CHAPTER 1195, SOIL EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION POLICY, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA.

WHEREAS, the Administration has recommended a code change to Chapter 1193, Stormwater Management Policy, and Chapter 1195, Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Policy, to conform the code to Ohio EPA regulations and to more current state of the art practices in the stormwater field; and
WHEREAS, Planning Commission heard the proposed amendment on December 16, 2009, and has recommended approval to Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Chapter 1193, Stormwater Management Policy, and Chapter 1195, Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Policy, are hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That existing Chapter 1193, Stormwater Management Policy, and Chapter 1195, Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Policy, or any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
