TO HONOR AND COMMEND ANTHONY C. BERKE ON ACHIEVEMENT OF THE RANK OF EAGLE SCOUT
Body
WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held for Anthony C. Berke; and
WHEREAS, in 1989, ANTHONY C. BERKE joined Cub Scout Pack 778, chartered by the Royal Manor PTO; and
WHEREAS, in February 1993, ANTHONY C. BERKE, completed Cub Scouts when he earned his Arrow of Light; and
WHEREAS, in March 1993, ANTHONY C. BERKE joined Boy Scout Troop 781, chartered by St. Luke's; and
WHEREAS, ANTHONY C. BERKE became a member of the Order of the Arrow in June 1995, and then sealed his membership with his Brotherhood in July 1998; and
WHEREAS, in July 1996, ANTHONY C. BERKE became a Pioneer in the Chief Logan Frontiersman Program; and
WHEREAS, as his service project to become an Eagle Scout, ANTHONY C. BERKE led a project collecting needed clothes and useful household items for The Friends of the Homeless in Columbus; and
WHEREAS, ANTHONY C. BERKE, serves as an exemplary standard for youth of our community:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and Administration, on behalf of the citizens of Gahanna, honor and commend ANTHONY C. BERKE for his attainment of the rank of Eagle Scout.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
