WHEREAS, letter proposal has been received for the inspection services for the Taylor Road at Eastgate Project, Imp. No. 778; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has recommended that we proceed to award said inspection services contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with EVANS, MECHWART, HAMBLETON & TILTON, INC., 170 Mill Street, Gahanna, Ohio 43230, for inspection services for the Taylor Road at Eastgate Project, Imp. No. 778, in accordance with City specifications.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($40,000) was set aside in the 2002 Appropriations to Account No. 101.349.5821, Capital Projects TIF, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
