TO ADOPT A DEVELOPMENT FEE SCHEDULE AS REFERENCED IN CHAPTER 148, DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT

WHEREAS, a Unified Fee Scheduled was adopted by ORD-0119-2007 consisting of three parts including Building Fees, Business and Incentive Fees, and Zoning Fee; and
WHEREAS, ORD-0119-2007 also required that the Director of Planning and Development review the Development Fee Schedule annually and report to Council any recommended changes for Council adoption; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Planning and Development is recommending slight modifications to the fee schedule in order to meet the regular review requirements of Chapter 148 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Planning and Development has recommended the updated Development Fee Schedule be effective March 3, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the Administration and this Council have reviewed the recommendations and are in agreement with the changes as proposed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Development Fee Schedule, consisting of three components - the Building Fees, the Business & Incentive Fees and the Zoning Fees - are hereby adopted as set forth in EXHIBIT A attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this schedule shall be in effect as of March 3, 2008.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
