WHEREAS, The Creekside Development Team created the Olde Gahanna Design Guidelines; and

WHEREAS, efforts are being made to encourage a market-driven revitalization of the Olde Gahanna historical district; and

WHEREAS, Planning Commission reviewed and made recommendation to Council on February 27, 2002 for the adoption of the Olde Gahanna Design Guidelines; and

WHEREAS, Council has reviewed the said Olde Gahanna Design Guidelines, and has held Public Hearing on May 6, 2002, and is ready to move forward with the adoption of said design guidelines;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That this Council hereby adopts the Olde Gahanna Design Guidelines, prepared by The Creekside Development Team, attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A and a part hereof.

Section 2.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
