TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE GAHANNA HISTORICAL SOCIETY FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 101 SOUTH HIGH STREET.

WHEREAS, the City is the owner of certain premises located in the City of Gahanna at 101 South Street; and
WHEREAS, the Gahanna Historical Society by ORD-0131-1979 entered into lease with the City in 1979 and wishes to continue leasing the property specified; and
WHEREAS, ORD-0105-2014, repealed ORD-00131-1979, and ORD-0106-2014, repealed ORD-0075-2014; and
WHEREAS, a new lease with the Gahanna Historical Society has been submitted and this Council wishes to enter into said new lease;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Lease Agreement with Gahanna Historical Society for property located at 101 South High Street, as more particularly described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
