WHEREAS, Mayor's Court has experienced a 30% increase in work load necessitating an increase in hours for part time personnel; and
WHEREAS, funds were transferred from the Salary Deputy Clerk account that will not be spent; and
WHEREAS, the part time salary account does not have sufficient funds to pay personnel through December;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the amount of TWO THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED SEVENTY SEVEN DOLLARS $2,877) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance in the general fund to the following accounts:
101.151.5112 - Court, Salaries Part time $2,500
101.151.5131 - Court, PERS 340
101.151.5138 - Medicare 37
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2000, passed January 3, 2000 is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and approval by the Mayor.
