TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO COOPERATE WITH THE CITY OF COLUMBUS IN MAKING GRANT APPLICATION FOR OHIO PUBLIC WORKS COMMISSION FUNDS FOR STYGLER ROAD IMPROVEMENTS.

WHEREAS, the section of Stygler Road north of the Gahanna Corporation line is in need of repair and the project will extend partially into Gahanna territory including sidewalk extensions; and
WHEREAS, the City of Columbus has requested cooperation from the City of Gahanna to jointly apply for Ohio Public Works funds for the project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to cooperate with the City of Columbus to make joint application to the Ohio Public Works Commission for funding for the Stygler Road Improvements project.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
