TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH CENTER CITY INTERNATIONAL TRUCKS, INC., FOR THE PURCHASE OF A 2009 7400 SFA 4 X 2 INTERNATIONAL CHASSIS EQUIPPED WITH GLEDHILL PLOW HITCH.

WHEREAS, the City can purchase the chassis needed for the new 2 1/2 ton dump truck off the ODOT Contract #2306; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service has recommended we proceed with this purchase;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into purchase agreement with Center City International Trucks, Inc., 4200 Currency Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43228, for purchase of a 2009 7400 SFA 4 X 2 International Chassis equipped with Gledhill plow hitch from ODOT Contract #2306.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of SIXTY FOUR THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED THIRTY FOUR DOLLARS ($64,934) was set aside in the 2008 Appropriations to Account No. 220.330.5512, Street Capital Equipment, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
