TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO PERSONAL SERVICES CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF GAHANNA AND CHARLES W. HENDERSON FOR GAHANNA ANIMAL CONTROL.

WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Administration that it is desirable to continue to handle animal control in the City with Charles W. Henderson;
WHEREAS, the existing contract with Charles W. Henderson will expire on December 31, 2002; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Personal Services Contract between the City of Gahanna, Ohio, and CHARLES W. HENDERSON, 84 Goings S.W., Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068, said contract attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of $40,285 will be appropriated in the 2003 Appropriations to Account No. 101.213.5441, A & I Control Services, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
