AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH THE GAHANNA CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU (CVB) FOR THE OHIO HERB CENTER (OHC)

WHEREAS, the City of Gahanna desires to extend its 2019-2020 agreement with the Gahanna Convention & Visitors Bureau for the ownership, operation and management of the Ohio Herb Center, for purposes of promoting tourism and attracting visitors to the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Agreement shall be for a period of three (3) years beginning on the first day of January, 2021 and extending to and including the second day of January, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Agreement with the Gahanna Convention & Visitors Bureau, 167 Mill Street Gahanna, Ohio 43230, for the Ohio Herb Center; said Agreement attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
