Title
TO AMEND CHAPTER 159, BOARD OF HEALTH OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.
 
Body
WHEREAS, The Franklin County Board of Health, now Franklin County Public Health, required the adoption of their code as a condition of a contract with them; and
 
WHEREAS, Franklin County Public Health has made significant revisions to their regulations effective January 1, 2015; and
 
WHEREAS, a Franklin County Public Health contract was approved by ORD-0010-2015; and
 
WHEREAS, an amendment to Section 159, Board of Health, is necessary to correspond with current Franklin County Public Health regulations; and
 
WHEREAS, it is imperative to move forward with this legislation as current regulations have been effective since January 1, 2015, and all for the preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety and welfare;
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
 
Section 1.  That Chapter 159, Board of Health is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto.
 
Section 2.  That existing Chapter 159, Board of Health, or any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
 
Section 3.  That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this Ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
