WHEREAS, the City is in need of a pickup truck to replace vehicle #591, for a water/sewer truck with a utility body and lifting crane; and
 
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Director of Public Service to proceed to purchase this vehicle from Mike Bass Ford; and
 
WHEREAS, the truck can be purchased off the State Contract #RS 900411, Index GDC093E, Item 30A;
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
 
Section 1.  That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into purchase agreement with MIKE BASS FORD, P.O. 844, Lorain, Ohio 44052, for the purchase of a Ford F-350 Pickup Truck, Utility Body with Lifting Crane, off the State Contract, #RS 900411, Index GDC093E, Item 30A; quote attached as EXHIBIT A.
 
Section 2.  That funding in the amount of TWENTY SEVEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED TWENTY SIX DOLLARS ($27,826) was set aside in the 2011 Appropriations in Account No. 651.350.5512, Water, Capital Equipment, to cover the herein costs.
 
Section 3.  That funding in the amount of TWENTY SEVEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED TWENTY SIX DOLLARS ($27,826) was set aside in the 2011 Appropriations in Account No. 661.360.5512, Sewer, Capital Equipment, to cover the herein costs.
 
Section 4.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
