WHEREAS, the City has received a quit claim deed from the City of Columbus for park land purposes; and
 
WHEREAS, this acquisition cleans up the boundaries along I-270 between Columbus and the City of Gahanna; and
 
WHEREAS, the deed was recorded by the Franklin County Recorder's office on September 27, 2010; and
 
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has estimated the value of the property to be $11,350;
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
 
Section 1.  That this Council hereby accepts this QUIT CLAIM DEED for park land purposes; said property located along I-270 near Hamilton Road; from the City of Columbus; said deed attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
 
Section 2.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
