WHEREAS, Council adopted SR-0002-2014 stating the necessity to provide sewers for an unsewered area in the City; and

WHEREAS, this improvement is known as the Larry Lane Sanitary Sewer, SA-1013; and

WHEREAS, to assist the resident at 510 East Johnstown Road in paying their connection fee, an assessment has been prepared and the next step in the process is for Council to pass an ordinance determining to proceed;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. It is hereby determined to proceed with the improvement of certain areas within the City of Gahanna by constructing and installing a sanitary sewer.

Section 2. Said improvement shall be made in accordance with the provisions of SR-0002-2014, the Resolution of Necessity, duly adopted by this Council on April 9, 2014 and in accordance with the plans, specifications, estimates, and profiles heretofore approved and now on file in the office of the Clerk of Council.

Section 3. All claims for damages resulting therefrom that have been legally filed shall be inquired into after completion of the project.

Section 4. That a portion of the cost of the improvement to be assessed, as set forth in the Resolution of Necessity, shall be assessed in the manner and the number of installments provided in such resolution and on the lots and lands described therein.

Section 5. The estimated assessments heretofore prepared and filed in the office of the Clerk of Council be and the same are hereby adopted.

Section 6. The Clerk of Council is hereby directed to deliver a certified copy of this ordinance to the County Auditor within fifteen days after passage.
