TO AUTHORIZE THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO AWARD AND THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH CIRCLE BUILDING SERVICES, INC. FOR THE CLEANING OF THE MUNICIPAL COMPLEX.

WHEREAS, bids were opened on September 12, 2006, for the cleaning of the Gahanna Municipal Complex; and
WHEREAS, the lowest, most responsive, most responsible bidder has been recommended by the Director of Public Service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Director of Public Service is hereby authorized to award and the Mayor is authorized to enter into Contract with CIRCLE BUILDING SERVICES, INC., 603 E. Town Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215 for cleaning services for the municipal complex, in accordance with bid and City specification, said bid tabulations attached as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of SIXTY TWO THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS ($62,700) will be set aside in the 2007 Appropriations to Account No. 101.141.5453, Cleaning Contract, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
