WHEREAS, as a part of the Northwood Estates commitments regarding the Sally Lewis and William Lewis Properties, the City required a park land dedication to the City of Gahanna; and

 

WHEREAS, a General Warranty Deed has been received for 2.360-acre tract of land; and

 

WHEREAS, it is desirable to accept this land at the earliest possible date for the effective development of the site; all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety, and welfare;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

 

Section 1.  That this Council hereby accepts General Warranty Deed from HMI Properties, Ltd., for Reserve "A," as such reserve is numbered and delineated on the Plat for The Park at Harrison Pond, "The Villages at Rocky Fork," Section 8, Part 1, Parcel No. 025-11810, with copy of said General Warranty Deed attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.

 

Section 2.  That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and upon date of signature approval by the Mayor.
