TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT AND WARRANTY WITH XC2.

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Service uses XC2 software to track backflow maintenance; and
WHEREAS, this software requires maintenance and technical support and the company requires an executed Software License Agreement and Warranty;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Software License Agreement and Warranty with XC2 Software, LLC, 122 Taylor Drive, Fairfax, CA, said agreement attached hereto as EXHIBIT A and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of TWO THOUSAND FIFTY DOLLARS ($2050) was set aside in the 2014 Appropriations to Account No. 651.350.5251, Water Tech Maintenance, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
