TO AMEND SECTION 1197.05, CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS, AND SECTION 1197.10, VARIANCES REQUIRED, OF CHAPTER 1197, DESIGN REVIEW, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA

WHEREAS, a review of this section of code was instituted in order to provide a time frame for the validity of a Certificate of Appropriateness; and
WHEREAS, Planning Commission has reviewed, initiated changes, and recommended said changes to City Council; and
WHEREAS, Council held Public Hearing on May 1, 2000, said meeting held pursuant to notice and according to law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Section 1197.05, Certificate of Appropriateness Required, and Section 1197.10, Variances Required, of Chapter 1197, Design Review, are hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That existing Section 1197.05, Certificate of Appropriateness Required, and Section 1197.10, Variances Required, of Chapter 1197, Design Review, or any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
