TO DEDICATE PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF GAHANNA AS RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR YMCA PLACE; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, street pavement is being constructed with the YMCA project, Improvement No. 847, but to be a proper street the right of way needs to be dedicated from the current status of ordinary property; and
WHEREAS, the south portion of the street is owned by the City and needs to be dedicated by ordinance; and
WHEREAS, it is imperative to move forward with this all for the preservation of the public peace, health safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby dedicates property owned by the City as right of way, including a utility easement, for YMCA Place, said land more particularly described in EXHIBIT A attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
