WHEREAS, the hiring of a Mechanic 1 for the year 2001 was recently approved; and
WHEREAS, a certified list by Civil Service Commission for Mechanic II exists until November 24, 2000; and
WHEREAS, funding would be necessary for the balance of this year in order to hire a Mechanic from the existing list;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Nine Thousand Dollars ($9,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated unencumbered balance in the general fund to the following accounts:

Section 2. That ORD-0001-2000, passed January 3, 2000 is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
