WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Police Department to purchase a digital camera for use by the Narcotics Investigators; and

WHEREAS, in order to move forward with the purchase of said camera it is necessary to appropriate the money into an expense account;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO;

Section 1.  That the amount of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the Federal Law Enforcement Trust Fund to Account No. 232.211.5411, Federal Law Enforcement Expense, for the purpose of purchasing a digital camera for the Narcotics Investigators, not to exceed $1,000. 

Section 2.  That ORD-0001-2001, passed January 2, 2001, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.

Section 3.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
