AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Right of Way Professional Services.

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Service and Engineering receives registration maintenance fees each year from providers utilizing Gahanna’s Right of Ways for their infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, recently, cell carriers have been working to upgrade and install needed infrastructure to support installation of small cell towers; and
WHEREAS, supporting infrastructure will be completed in the next few months and permits for the towers will be submitted soon thereafter; and
WHEREAS, review of such permits will require a high level of expertise and familiarity in this area; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Service and Engineering will need to hire a consultant to assist in reviewing these permits
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the amount of thirty thousand dollars and zero cents ($30,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the Right of Way Fund (2411) to Account 2411.1000.5210 - Professional Services.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
