WHEREAS, price quote has been obtained for 4 copiers for City Hall and the Service Director has recommended we proceed to lease; and
WHEREAS, it is imperative to move forward with this immediately, all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Lease Agreement with GFC Leasing, P.O. Box 1129, Madison, WI 53071, for three image RUNNER 5000S copiers and one Canon IR 210 copier.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of EIGHTEEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY FIVE DOLLARS ($18,185) was appropriated in the 2001 appropriations to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
