TITLE
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2024 SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE PROGRAM AREA
BODY
WHEREAS, the Department of Engineering seeks approval of the 2024 Sidewalk Maintenance Program Area; and
WHEREAS, the Program Area includes properties along the following street segments: Beaverbrook Dr from Barden Ct to Hunters Run (western intersection); Beaverbrook Dr from Barden Ct to Helmbright Dr; Barden Ct from Beaverbrook Dr to end of court; Challis Springs Dr from Harrison Pond Dr to Clark State Rd; Aroya Ct from Challis Springs Dr to end of court; Cherrystone Dr N & S from Trapp Dr (north end) to Trapp Dr (south end) • Trapp Dr from Cherrystone Dr N to Crossing Creek N; Lang Dr from Riva Ridge Blvd to end of street; Mistletoe St from Moss Oak Ave to Thistle Ave; Spirea Ave from Mistletoe St to end of street; and Sandburr Dr from Stygler Rd to Windbourne St; and
WHEREAS, there are 204 parcels included in the recommended Program area; and
WHEREAS, the recently completed inspection of the sidewalk network and noted defects, in close coordination with the annual Street Program, serves as the basis for maintaining these areas in a good and orderly state to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby adopts the 2024 Sidewalk Maintenance Program Area; said Program Area more particularly described in EXHIBIT A attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
