WHEREAS, Legal Counsel for the City, City Administrative Designees, and the Fraternal Order of Police, Capital City Lodge No. 9, have negotiated the pay and benefit package for the Uniformed Ranks of the Gahanna Police Department, and have made recommendation to this Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into negotiated Labor Agreement, "CONTRACT BETWEEN CITY OF GAHANNA AND FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE, CAPITAL CITY LODGE NO. 9, JANUARY 1, 2013 - DECEMBER 31, 2015, said Contract attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That the pay and benefits of this Agreement shall be retroactive to January 1, 2013.
Section 3. That ORD-0165-2010, passed October 18, 2010, and any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That, this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
