WHEREAS, the Gahanna Moose Lodge is known as "The Friendliest Place in Town", and has generously donated funds to the Gahanna Police Department and Mifflin Township Fire Department to be used as they see fit; and
WHEREAS, the Gahanna Moose Lodge is ranked 27th out of 122 lodges in Ohio in membership and is a family fraternity; and
WHEREAS, as well as supporting local charities and organizations, Moose Charities is a registered nonprofit fund raiser to help needy children who live at Mooseheart Illinois, as well as assisting senior members who make their home at the senior citizen home community of Moosehaven;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and Administration do hereby honor and commend Gahanna Moose Lodge #2463 for their dedication and service to the community and world charities helping so many people.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately after passage by this Council.
