WHEREAS, proposals have been received for stucco repairs to City Hall as a result of the 2006 hail damage , and the Director of Public Service has recommended we proceed with Clear Choice Walls for the repairs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with CLEAR CHOICE WALLS, 6301 East Walnut Street, Westerville, Ohio 43081, for stucco repairs to City Hall; Proposal attached as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of SIX THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED THIRTY THREE DOLLARS ($6,633) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.141.5596, Lands & Buildings Capital Projects/Improvements to cover the herein costs; and that a 10% contingency is figured in this total.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2008, passed January 2, 2008, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
