TO RENAME THE MUNICIPAL HERB GARDENS AS GEROUX HERB GARDENS

WHEREAS, it has been suggested that the Municipal Herb Garden be renamed as THE GEROUX HERB GARDENS in grateful recognition to Jerry H. and Jane L. "Bunnie" Geroux for their many years of dedicated service to the City of Gahanna; and
WHEREAS, the administration is in support of this renaming of the Herb Gardens; and
WHEREAS, the Park Board and the Landscape Board has made the recommendation that the park be renamed THE GEROUX HERB GARDENS;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Municipal Herb Gardens are hereby renamed as THE GEROUX HERB GARDENS in grateful recognition of exemplary work by Jerry H. and Jane L. "Bunnie" Geroux for the City of Gahanna for over 30 years.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon approval by Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
