TO REZONE 4.806+/- ACRES OF PROPERTY AS NC, NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL; SAID PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5495, 5505, 5511 AND 5515 MORSE ROAD, FRANKLIN COUNTY PARCEL NO. 025-011234, AND 4721 EAST JOHNSTOWN ROAD; CURRENT ZONING ER-1, ESTATE RESIDENTIAL; NEW ALBANY COMPANY, APPLICANT.
 
BODY
WHEREAS, application has been made by New Albany Company to zone 4.806+/- acres, said property located at 5495, 5505, 5511 and 5515 Morse Road, Franklin County Parcel No. 025-011234, and 4721 East Johnstown Road; and
 
WHEREAS, Planning Commission held public hearings on June 25, 2014 and July 23, 2014, and has recommended this request for zoning; and
 
WHEREAS, City Council held public hearing on September 2, 2014, in regular meeting, said meeting held pursuant to notice and according to law;
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
 
Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map, adopted by Ordinance No. 198-96, passed November 19, 1996, as amended, is hereby amended by zoning 4.806+/- acres, NC, Neighborhood Commercial; said acreage more particularly described in EXHIBIT A attached hereto.
 
Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to amend and recertify the Official Zoning Map of the City of Gahanna, Ohio, to reflect the zoning contained in and approved by this Ordinance.
 
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
