TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH AQUATIC RENOVATION SYSTEMS, INC. FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A PVC MEMBRANE FOR THE FRONT GAHANNA SWIMMING POOL.

BODY

WHEREAS, notice dates for bids was February 9 to February 15, 2018 with a bid opening date of February 23, 2018; and

WHEREAS, two bids were received with the lowest being Aquatic Renovation Systems, Inc.; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Parks & Recreation is recommending the City enter into agreement to proceed with the installation of a PVC membrane for the front Gahanna Swimming Pool.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Agreement with Aquatic Renovation Systems, Inc. 2825 E. 55^th Place, Indianapolis, IN  46220, for the installation of a PVC membrane for the front Gahanna Swimming Pool; said Agreement attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.

Section 2. That funding has been set aside in 2018 appropriations to cover the costs.

Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by Council and after signature of approval by the Mayor.
