TO AMEND CONTRACT WITH EMH&T; TO ALLOW CONTINUING SERVICES UNDER CONTRACT AUTHORIZED BY ORD-0050-2001; TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $6,115 THEREFOR; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, proposal has been received, and has been recommended by the Administration; and
WHEREAS, the Southeast Sanitary Subtrunk Sewer requires additional work to revise the detailed engineering plans; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire and goal of this Council and Administration to continue the development of the Southeast Sanitary Sewer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into amended contract with EMH&T for additional work required to revise the detailed engineering plans for the Southeast Sanitary Subtrunk Sewer.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of Five Thousand Dollars ($6,115) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance in the SSCI Fund to Account No. 662.361.5821, Capital Projects, Sewer TIF, to cover herein costs.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2001 passed January 2, 2001, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
