TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH J.D. EQUIPMENT, INC., FOR TWO TRACTORS, FOR THE STREETS DEPARTMENT, AND TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE FOUR HUNDRED THIRTEEN DOLLARS.

WHEREAS, new tractors are needed for the Streets Department; and
WHEREAS, the tractors are part of the Annual J.D. Equipment Trade-In program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into purchase agreement with J.D. Equipment, Inc., 1660 U.S. Rte. 42 NE London, Ohio, for the purchase of two tractors.
Section 2. That Four Hundred Thirteen Dollars ($413) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated unencumbered balance of the general fund to Account 220.330.5512, Streets, Capital Equipment.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2001, passed January 2, 2001 is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by Mayor.
