SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Municipal Complex Duct Cleaning

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service is requesting a supplemental appropriation in order to complete duct cleaning in the municipal complex; and
WHEREAS, 2002 is the last time that the duct work was cleaned and this work includes removal of debris in the duct work and also removal of any mold; and
WHEREAS, several years ago an engineering firm evaluated the ducts, the mold and air quality in different areas and identified that this type of work needed to be done;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of SEVENTEEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY SIX DOLLARS ($17,456) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.141.5310, Lands & Buildings, Building Maintenance.
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2012, passed January 2, 2012, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
