TITLE
TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH COAXIAL COMMUNICATIONS; TO PERMIT COAXIAL COMMUNICATIONS TO OPERATE A COMMUNITY ANTENNA (CATV) SYSTEM IN THE CITY OF GAHANNA
BODY
WHEREAS, Coaxial Communications is desirous of continuing its systems operations for cable television to Gahanna residents; and
WHEREAS, the Service and Public Affairs Committee of Council has reviewed this cable system, the time limit, and has made recommendation to this Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into Agreement with COAXIAL COMMUNICATIONS, 3770 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43227-2280, said Agreement attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That a Permit is hereby granted to COAXIAL COMMUNICATIONS, 3770 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43227-2280, to operate a Community Antenna (CATV) System in the City of Gahanna in accordance with EXHIBIT A, hereto.
Section 3. That should any terms of this agreement be in conflict with Chapter 751 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, this Agreement shall prevail.
Section 4. That any ordinances or parts of ordinance, or any permits in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
