TITLE

 

TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH FRANKLIN SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT WITH REGARD TO EPA STORMWATER REQUIREMENTS OF OUR NATIONAL POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM (NPDES) PERMIT.

WHEREAS, the City entered into Contract with the Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District for storm water management plan and other services in 2003, and wishes to continue these services; and

 

WHEREAS, letter proposal has been received from Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District for continuing these services, and the Director of Public Service has recommended that we proceed with them.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:

 

Section 1.  That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract with FRANKLIN SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT, 1404 Goodale Boulevard, Suite 100, Columbus, Ohio 43212, for EPA storm water management plan and other services; said services to be in accordance with Working Agreement attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and all in accordance with City specifications.

 

Section 2.  That funding in the amount of TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($10,000) has been set aside in the 2016 Appropriations to Account No. 631.350.5470, Storm/Water/Regulatory Requirements, to cover the herein costs.

 

Section 3.  That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
