ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE AND ENGINEERING TO ENTER INTO AN EXTENSION ADDENDUM WITH IRONPLANET dba GOVEPLANET FOR AUCTION SERVICES.

WHEREAS, IronPlanet (dba GovPlanet) is a National Joint Powers Alliance cooperative purchasing partner that specializes in auction listings that help government agencies achieve faster sales and generate higher returns; and
WHEREAS, the current contract expires in June, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the department has been extremely satisfied with the services provided and the revenue generated and therefore would like participate in the offered extension; and
WHEREAS, since this is solely a revenue generating contract, no City funds are required to cover this Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with IRONPLANET dba GovPlanet, 3825 Hopyard Road, Suite 250, Pleasanton, CA 94588-8528, for the City’s Auction Listing Service extension addendum ; said addendum attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
