TO ACCEPT DEEDS OF CONSERVATION EASEMENT IN THE FOXBORO RECREATION AREA ENTERED INTO BY THE CITY OF GAHANNA WITH THE FRANKLIN COUNTY SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT.

WHEREAS, the City purchased certain areas around the Foxboro Recreation area in 1998; and
WHEREAS, at that time conservation easements were entered into by the City with Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation District in exchange for grant funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby accepts the DEEDS OF CONSERVATION EASEMENT for the purpose of protecting the natural resources of the area in the Foxboro Recreation Area entered into with the Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District, said Deeds of Conservation Easement attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A and EXHIBIT B, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
