WHEREAS, the City of Gahanna contracted with Woolpert, Inc., in conjunction with PROS Consulting, LLC and Strategic Visioning, Inc., to prepare the Comprehensive Parks & Recreation Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, Planning Commission held Public Hearing on the Comprehensive Parks & Recreation Master Plan and on June 14, 2006 recommended to Council the adoption of the Comprehensive Parks & Recreation Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, Council has reviewed said Master Plan and wishes to see it adopted and continually used and referenced as a tool for continued growth and development of our parks and recreation system;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby adopts the Comprehensive Parks & Recreation Master Plan, June, 2006, by Woolpert, Inc., said study on file in the office of the Clerk of Council.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
