TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A DEED OF A CITY OWNED PARCEL ON NORTH HAMILTON ROAD IN ORDER TO MEET FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS TO HAVE PORTIONS CONVERTED TO THE RIGHT-OF-WAY BY DEEDING THEM TO THE COUNTY AS PART OF THE HAMILTON ROAD CENTRAL PROJECT; IMPROVEMENT NO. ST 785.

WHEREAS, with the widening of North Hamilton Road from Carpenter Road to Johnstown Road there are four parcels that are City owned that must be converted to the right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, by Federal Requirements the parcels must be converted to the right-of-way by deeding them to the County; and
WHEREAS, parcel numbers 025-013460, 025-001990 and 025-001908 are for warranty deed of a 1.380 acre parcel and was purchased with the intent of providing the area for the west leg of the northern roundabout; it was not purchased with right-of-way language so it is necessary to convert it now;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a deed of a City owned parcel on North Hamilton Road in order to meet Federal Requirements to have portions converted to the right-of-way by deeding to the County; parcel number 025-013460, 025-001990 and 025-001908 for 1.380 acre parcel as required for the roadway expansion.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
