WHEREAS, the cleaning contract for the Golf Course Club House will expire January 31, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks & Recreation has recommended that we proceed to enter into contract with Bill Walker, a golf course member and close resident, for the cleaning of the golf course club house;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with BILL WALKER, 222 Chapelfield Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230, for cleaning of the Golf Course Club House for the period of February 1, 2009 through January 31, 2010; contract attached as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of FORTY FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($4,500) will be set aside in the 2009 Appropriations to Account No. 101.433.5250, Golf Course, Janitorial Contract, to cover the herein cost.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
