TO AMEND CODE SECTION 563.18, FISHING, OF CHAPTER 563, PARK CONDUCT; OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA.

WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Board has recommended a change to Section 563.18, stating the fishing at City owned Park Ponds will be catch and release only except for special programming authorized by the Director of Parks & Recreation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Section 563.18, Fishing, of Chapter 563, Park Conduct, is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That the existing Section 563.18, Fishing, of Chapter 563, Park Conduct, or any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, is hereby amended.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
