WHEREAS, matching funds in the amount of $1,380 are required in order to accept an LLEBG grant of $12,422; and
WHEREAS, said monies are needed to fund anticipated shortages in police overtime and associated accounts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That FOUR THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED FORTY FOUR DOLLARS ($4,644) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the general fund to the following accounts:
101.211.5117 Police Overtime $1,380
101.211.5931 Police Pension 2,691
101.211.5132 Police Workers Comp 373
101.211.5138 Police Medicare 580
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2001, passed January 2, 2001, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
