Title

SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Leaders, Senior Citizens  {Ordinance No. 6-98}

Body

WHEREAS, through Mayoral veto, the line item in the 1998 Appropriations, was deleted; and

WHEREAS, on June 20, 1998, Council read the Mayor's veto message into the record and Council did not vote to override the Mayoral veto; and

WHEREAS, it is desirous and necessary to provide funding the leadership of the various programs at the senior facility;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That the amount of THREE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($3,500) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the General Fund to ACCOUNT NO. 101,434.5111, Senior Services, Salary, Leaders.

Section 2.  That Ordinance No. 1-98, passed January 2, 1998, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.

Section 3.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
