Title

AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH AN INVESTMENT POLICY STATEMENT FOR THE CITY OF GAHANNA, OHIO.

Body

WHEREAS, as the result of an audit of financial procedures of the City by the Examiners of the State of Ohio, a recommendation was made for an adopted policy for investing of City funds; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has submitted a proposal for such a policy;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That an investment policy is hereby adopted and approved by this Council, said policy attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A, and titled, "Investment Policy Statement - City of Gahanna, Ohio."

Section 2.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
