WHEREAS, Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission has been working to preserve Franklin County greenways and stream banks and promote community access along our watercourses that will benefit all communities; and
WHEREAS, Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission is currently developing a model ordinance for watercourse protection and designation of scenic byways; and
WHEREAS, Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission is requesting $10,000 from Gahanna to continue the Greenways program in the year 2000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered unappropriated balance in the General Fund to Account No. 101.431.5240, Greenways.
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2000, passed January 3, 2000 is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
