TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A THREE YEAR SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH SMARTBILL LTD., FOR THE PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE CITY'S WATER/SANITARY/STORM/REFUSE BILLS.

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Director of Public Service to enter into a 3 year service agreement with SmartBill, Ltd. for the purpose of producing and distributing Water/Sanitary/Storm/Refuse bills; and
WHEREAS, this service will give the City an efficient and effective way to produce bills while saving on costs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a 3 year service agreement with SmartBill, Ltd., 895 Buckeye Avenue, Newark, Ohio 43055, said agreement attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That sufficient funding is available in Account No. 651.350.5265, Water, SmartBill Printing and Account No. 661.360.5265, Sewer, SmartBill Printing; to cover the herein costs as determined by Unit Price which is described in the attached agreement.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
